Music fans brought out the glow sticks and facepaint at the Noughty 90s music festival.

Ahead of headline performances from the likes of Tinchy Strider, Five, and DJ Sammy, music lovers got their groove on in the sun at the Noughty 90s Festival in Newcastle's Leazes Park.

The raucous festival sees your "favourite Noughties and Nineties artists perform legendary 'old-skool' bangers" - and on Saturday afternoon revellers were getting into the swing of things..

Along with the aforementioned big names, acts like Blazin' Squad, D:Ream, DJ Ironik and Kelly Llorrenna were throwing down tunes from what the organisers called "two of the most important decades in music history".

DJ Dan Harding could also be heard telling music fans in Leazes Park "not to peak too soon" ahead of what sounded like an epic night of dance, electro, R&B and pop ahead.

The first of two days of cracking tunes, food, drink and Bank Holiday revelry saw fans whack out the pink specs, tie-dye shirts and bucket hats and get into the party spirit. Can you spot yourself in any of our pictures?
